The Health and Safety (First–Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work.
In the event of injury or sudden illness, failure to provide first aid could result in a casualty’s death. The employer should ensure that an employee who is injured or taken ill at work receives immediate attention.
The Health and Safety Executive will prosecute in cases where there is a significant risk, a disregard for established standards or persistent poor compliance with the law. FIRST AID At Work
This 3 day course covers everything you need to know in relation to First Aid. It is designed for high risk environments or for those looking to be proactive in their approach to First Aid within the workplace.
First Aid at Work Revalidation
For those who still have a valid 3 day First Aid at Work certificate. This 2 day course will refresh skill sets and knowledge without the fuss of having to sit the whole course over.
EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK
Largely recognised as being the minimum requirement for designated First Aiders within the workplace. This 1 day course will give you the basics of how to respond to an emergency situation.
First aid At Work Annual Refresher
This qualification is predominantly for qualified first aiders who have a specific interest or a responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to be able to provide first aid to people they are caring for when dealing with an emergency. It is designed to help maintain skills and keep up to date with any changes to first aid procedures. As recommended by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
