Are you looking for a new career in the world of swimming teaching or are you looking to develop existing staff within your swimming pool to offer swimming lessons as a service?
We have two essential qualifications that will ensure you or your team are trained and hold an industry recognised certification allowing holders to deliver lessons safely and professionally.
STA AWARD IN SWIMMING TEACHING
The STA Award in Swimming Teaching aims to produce teachers that can teach up to 10 beginners and deliver the Swimming Teachers Association International Learn to Swim Programme. They may also act as an assistant swimming teacher and can teach larger classes or advanced skills under the direct supervision of a swimming teacher qualified to certificate level.
STA CERTIFICATE IN SWIMMING TEACHING
The STA Certificate in Swimming Teaching is a 1 week long course that aims to prepare holders to teach, without supervision, pupils of all levels. It also allows holders to supervise those qualified in the STA Award in Swimming Teaching.
