Specialist First Aid Training Courses
BSM Training and Consultancy are committed to ensuring our first aid training is suitable for all and caters to wide variety of industries. In this section you will find courses we offer to specific industries such as the forestry commission and the Scottish Youth Football Association.

Activity FIRST AID
The QA Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid (RQF) qualification has been specifically designed for those who have a responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide first aid when dealing with an emergency whilst undertaking activities, such as sports, swimming, hiking, rock climbing etc.
SYFA Approved First Aid
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations that can arise in both adults and children whilst taking part in Football. The Scottish Youth Football Association have specific requirements in relation to head injuries such as sports related concussion which this qualification meets.
CPR & AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED)
During this half day course, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to administer effective CPR and use an AED when dealing with an emergency situation. Topics covered include CPR, choking, safe use of an AED, using an AED on a child, AED maintenance and more
Level 3: Forestry First Aid +F (RQF)
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills needed to deal with emergency first aid situations in a forestry/agricultural context. The QA Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid + F (RQF) qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.
Level 2: Basic Life Support & Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF)
This half day course is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification which provides Learners with the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in basic life support and the management of anaphylaxis. The content of this qualification has been approved by the Anaphylaxis Campaign.
Level 2: Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (RQF)
This half day course is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification which provides learners with the necessary skills and knowledge needed to deal with an adult or child who requires basic life support in an emergency situation.
