Paediatric First Aid Courses
The Health and Safety (First–Aid) Regulations 1981 offers protectionto our employees or the workforce, however it is important to remember that we have a responsibility not just to the people we work with but also to the people in which we serve.
In this section you will find some very specific first aid courses for those who work predominantly with children. These courses are ideal for those who work as support workers in the communities, nursery nurses, childminders, or anyone in early years education. These courses also comply with standards laid out by the care inspectorate.
PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID
An in-depth 2 day course specifically for those working with children. It will teach you everything you need to know about administering first aid to children and recognising signs and symptoms of multiple illnesses.
EMERGENCY PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID
Essential for those who work with children. This 1 day course is the minimum requirement for those working in the early years sector. It is also suitable for parents and anyone looking to gain knowledge of how to act in an emergency situation.
PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID At Work Refresher
This 3 hour course is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification which has been specifically designed to provide qualified paediatric first aiders with an opportunity to refresh their knowledge and practice key paediatric first aid skills every year until requalification training is required.
